Marquette Downs DePaul, 79-70
         

Jerel McNeal scored 21 points, Wesley Matthews had 20 and Lazar Hayward added 16 points and 17 rebounds to lead No. 11 Marquette to a 79-70 victory over DePaul on Saturday that kept the Golden Eagles undefeated in the Big East.

for the Stud of the Game box: Lazar played 29 minutes and had 2 steals, too.

Lazar was terrific...and DJ was also very good, alot of "should have been assists" to go with the nice # that he had.  And did DJ have ANY turnovers?!!?!

Yes, but only 2. A 9-2 turnover to assist ratio? I'll take that. Plus, he had 3 steals. (Jerel had 6!)
