team looked spirited... hustling pretty much all 40.
didn't look puzzled by WV zone- which was pretty aggressive at time imo.

MU kept swinging, but always looking for the entry--- unlike the last couple games vs. zones.

my favorite moments occurred each time the refs would make the mu bench sit, which they did, but then immediatly get back up again as play started.... these guys were into it.

played very tight D- don't think they allowed more than a couple of back doors---
only a few WV open looks for threes--- I know they didn't shoot well from there, but those guys seem like they're very comfortable and confident shooting from long range.

very cool to see all the old mu players etc out there.

great game!  enjoyed it immensely!

Im upset I missed it, was asleep, playing poker last night till 5 in the morning, good to see a victory, and a stat line in ESPN ticker that made James look like he might be back?

pure genius stuff by Bill Simmons, remember to read day 2

Final Four or Bust

Great game -- the guys played well and aggressive against WVU, and the coach put in a good gameplan.  There was a start of a turnaround against UConn (although we didn't play well), but this was the team that beat Duke earlier in the year.  Only downsides?  FTs (again), outside shooting (although James hit a few, he is still shooting too many).

All in all a great performance, and a performance that I think many knew they were capable of -- and expected much of the year.  Let's see if they can carry it to Ville.

I noticed the ref and the bench also although I have empathy for the people in the first few rows behind the bench.  Had those seats 2 years ago and you literally watched half the game on the jumbotron.  There were 2 walk ons that year who didn't dress for the games and would stand almost the whole game, for the price those seats were a waste money.  I complained to MU and Blue and Gold and no one could care less way to treat your high paying customers.

so wait, you would rather the team sit and not be into the game so that high paying customers have a better view?  interesting...

State

Watching Kinsella on the bench is a hoot---if only the passion and energy he shows on the bench could translate to the floor.  When he gets in...he is like a deer in headlights!!

perhaps there is a happy medium was what I was suggesting
