If we're reading too much into things they they need to fire the copy editor that allowed that text to go to publication. Nobody speaks like that.

But yeah, I was willing to chalk it up to a coincidence up until "winning games in mysterious ways" and "Depaul [...] has been running to stand still". Not exactly a turn of phrase there.

I would say losing to depaul would make me unhappy,
