Was that Dean the Dream on "The News Hour"
« on: January 16, 2009, 06:33:45 AM »
Two reports last night on the U. S. Air crash with Jim Lehrer.  Second one was by Dean Meminger!!  He was introduced as a reporter for New York 1.  I think this may be "the" Dean the Dreams son.  The picture sure favored Dean.  Anyone have more direct information?

That was his son, he works for NY1 or at least did a few years back when I lived in the city.

classof70 .. I saw that too, but the picture of the reporter wasn't old enough to be "our" Dean.

A few years back my dad (71' alum) saw Dean Jr. on the news when in NYC on business and came back saying "He hasn't aged a bit" and got quite a laugh when he was informed that it was in fact his son.

Dean Sr. lives in Walterboro, SC currently or did so as of spring 2007 when he came to Hilton Head for an alumni gathering and stayed at my parents house.
