I hate Duke, but I do remember Johnny Dawkins being a sweet PG...and wasn't Grant Hill a 3?  I would bump him down to SF and put Reddick in at 2.

Yeah, Hill and Battier played the 3... Redick disappeared from too many big games to make the list. I thought about Dawkins, but he would replace Battier, who to me epitomizes what Duke basketball should be. One of my favorite college players ever.

Also I hate Duke, but Bobby Hurley may be the best true pg in ACC history. Jay Williams was more of a scorer.

There is no way Hurley was better than Williams.  A better pure pg but not nearly the college player.

You can't forget Chris Jackson (Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf) who was one of the most proilific scorers in college history.

Also for LSU Bob Pettit... one of the best players of all time

Averaged 32 points 17 rebounds his senior year

Went on to be a 12 time allstar and won the first MVP awarded in the NBA.

LSU might have one of the better teams...

Hard time matching up against those 4

Pettit
Pistol Pete
Chris Jackson

and even if Dameon Mason is playing, that would be a tough team to beat with another alltime team

You could throw in Stromile Swift and you'd have yourself a pretty good team.

Just did some research on LSU greats.  I would put Durand "Rudy" Macklin as their fifth member. He averaged 17 and 10 over his career and was a 2 time first team all-american in 80 and 81:

C: Shaq
PF: Macklin
SF: Pettit
G: Maravich
G: Jackson

Dawkins was a 2 in college......Amaker was the PG on those teams.
