Blackhat

Got to pick some itunes for workout music.  Favorite songs that get you going?

Right now I've got only some my favorites from STP and Elvis.

If you're going for angry stuff to get you amped up, Rage Against The Machine and Public Enemy would be a good start.

Duh. How could I forget. Death Magnetic is excellent (and I'm not even a metal head).

Skatastrophy

Michael Bolton.  For my money, I don't know if it gets any better than when he sings 'When a Man Loves a Woman'.

Jay Bee

"Girls, Girls, Girls" by Van Halen.  Slash's guitar solo on that absolutely rips!!

Holy crap, what were you smoking in the 80's?, (and can I please get the name of your dealer).

Girls girls girls is by Motley Crue, not Van Halen.

Slash is in Guns and Roses, not Motley Crue or Van Halen.

Girl Talk     ... if you don't know what it is... get it.  Just one big mixtape that Greg Gillis has put together for you.

He pretty much mashes your top 40 hip hop/alternative rock/rock music together into one ba CD...

Feed The Animals is his new CD
Night Ripper is his CD from 2006

Get both, both rock.

clearly, he was joking... part of what killed me was wondering how long it would take someone (you, for instance) to show up and play the part of correction police.

thanks, the joke got better when you replied.

Feed the Animals was my favorite CD in 2008.  Killer album.

Oh my goodness.. you're right!  I'm surprised I made that mistake since I've been watching the Crue's lead singer on his reality TV show Rock of Love Bus.  I haven't missed an episode yet!  What would I do without MTV?!?!

Since Office Space has been brought up...I'll go with The Geto Boys!

Also someone earlier mentioned Public Enemy...I'll definitely agree with that.

I've never seen Office Space (rarely watch fictional shows) -- what's the connection with the Geto Boys?  Do It Like a GO always got me amped.  Still speak to Willie Dee on occasion.. interesting cat right there.

PE - Night of the Living Bassheads... I used when boxing in junior high as my intro.  But there's tons of fresh joints.. especially, for me, from It Takes a Nation...

Non-Phixion - Rock Stars... put that on and I'm ready to bench 45,000 pounds (well, I was before I recently had spine surgery.. but...)

Office Space is one of the greatest comedy movies of all time and the Geto Boys are all over the soundtrack. As far as PE goes, my favorite will always be Black Steel in The Hour of Chaos...I got a letter from the government the other day....

Jay Bee, I believe you are 2/2 today.

MU B2002

My recent favorite is List of Demands by Saul Williams.

FWIW
It is the song featured in the LDT "my better is better than your better" Nike commercials.
