Actually, where I live there is a former NFL player running the City's recreational sports program.  He played about 18 years in the NFL as a punter and quarterback (almost exclusively a backup).  He's doing a great job.  My son was fortunate to have him as a football coach for a year and loved it.  Compliments from that coach meant a little something extra to the kids.  So, maybe that's not a bad major.

One of my friends majored in Rec Sports. He now has a full ride for a masters as he helps run their Rec Department.

What's scarier is there is a masters program for Rec Sports.

OMG, is it Tom Tupa?!

Skatastrophy

I had a girlfriend that majored in Recreational Management or something of that sort at Illinois State.

The rest of the kids down at that university nicknamed the major "Underwater Basket-Weaving."  :p

I'm not sure why, but I sense that this should have been teal.  But, yes...
