Pretty recent alum here that just moved out to LA.

Are there any MU bars in town?  Anyone getting together to throw a few back and watch the UT game?

Sungod

I don't know of any MU game watching locations in So Cal (except for planned events like National Marquette Day), but I would meet up to watch the Warriors and throw a few back.

The first years away from season tickets are the toughest, especially with the lack of TV coverage, but now you can watch more than half the games on TV (package plan) or watch them streaming live on the internet (courtesy of mu_hilltopper - thanks)

We usually have our events at Hollywood Billiards because they have all of different sports packages.  But seeing how this is a national ESPN game, there are a lot more choices.  Big Wangs in Hollywood isn't bad. I'd be interested in meeting up.

Along the same lines...any places in the Bay Area - i.e. northern cali, that MU people get together regularly? I'm out here for 3.5 weeks and would like to join people if there is one.

Hollywood Billiards is pretty close -- I'd be up to meet there around tipoff time.  I'd say 6, but we'll see how early I can escape the office.
