Wow it's hard to believe that the same team that blew out Notre Dame could turn around and lose to Villanovia IN D.C. I know that Nova is a good team but Georgetown just did not seem like the same team against Notre Dame, they looked like they were supposed to after a #8 preseason ranking.

However, this helps remind me, and hopefully others that these are 18-23 year olds, they are going to be inconsistent. There is tons of parody in the Big East and all of college basketball. A couple conference losses do not spell doom.

PuertoRicanNightmare

Actually, Marquette has been fairly consistent this season.

Villanova's hold on Georgetown dates back to 1985!

ForstK

Were pretty consistent in our parody of a BEAST bb team.

Villanova played 40 minutes of SERIOUS defense with full court pressure.  I wish the Warriors would put forth that effort for an entire game.

All that game proves is that this is a league where if you don't play well, you'll lose--doesn't matter who it is against.  You have to bring it every game in the BE.
Agreed, though, I would like to see us get back in gear, and play alot more uptempo, attack the basket, and pressure the ball.
