My priorities (in order):
1. Lazar has to stay out of foul trouble.
2. We need to contain Leuer. (I'm not as concerned about others because we have more capable defenders on them.)
3. Dwight needs to keep his man off the boards and not commit dumb fouls.
4. Jerel: Fewer turnovers, fewer shots, fewer fouls.

We do all four of those and we blow them out.

I like that Landry is about the same size as Lazar, hopefully that will help with the foul trouble. Also, Nankivil does not impress me, especially on offense. That should be beneficial for our post D. Save fouls for Leuer.

What does everybody else think?

pressure and effective defense.

we haven't been all that impressive defending lesser teams the bulk of the game.
in order to ensure the ball doesn't get rammed down out low post throats, we have to make their guard make mistakes.
that'll open up some breaks...

Big Papi

1.  Create turnovers - Badgers had 20 TOs against UConn (loss) and 19 against Iona (overtime win).  Rest of their wins they had minimal turnovers.
2.  Defend the 3 - Badgers average a little over 7 makes a game but at a clip of almost 43%
3.  Foul trouble - With our weak bench, we can't afford any foul trouble, especially to Matthews and Hayward
4.  Contain Hughes - last year he had a horrible game (1-6 from 3 and 4 turnovers) and they lost.  The year before he ignited the Badgers early until Tucker took over.
5.  Out rebound the Badgers - Not the tall big Badgers of years past.  We need to be the more physical team and dominate the offensive glass.

Pakuni

1. Control the pace. The less time spent in half court sets, the better.

2. Keep the big men out of foul trouble. We don't want to see a five-guard lineup or Jimmy Butler having to defend the post.

3. Extend the defense. Outside of Hughes, the BADgers ballhandlers are suspect.
