Is anyone going to be at the Schoolyard in Chicago for the MU-UW game tomorrow?  I'm thinking of heading down there if there'll be a crowd.

Ready2Fly

I'll be there.  The Bradley Center is the only better place to watch an MU game.

I live in chicago but still have season tickets so I go to pretty much every home game.  I do however head to the school yard for most of the away games, and especially the ones not on national tv.  I don't know if anyone else on the board has noticed this, but a couple of yrs ago the school yard was a mad house for MU games.  You had to get there two hrs early to get a table and the back room would be packed.  Last year you could so up at game time and easily get a seat.  I don't think so, but is there another bar MU alums are heading to?

Sweenz

Although I was there last night for the Marquette Christmas party, I will be heading back to the Schoolyard for the game... I was thinking about going somewhere else because I figured it would be crowded... but I like a crowd, esp a pro Marquette crowd.

Four shadows is close by to the schoolyard and has had some decent MU crowds in the past.  That is the fall back if Schoolyard is to packed.

All of the sudden, EVERYBODY is in need of a bailout!  Tell you what, have 5 less beers at Schoolyard tonight and you'll save enough cash to buy yourself a ticket!

Finley Dunn's is another viewing location option for MU fans in chicago.

I'm driving up for the game, but I like the Schoolyard...

Anyone know what the parking situation is around the schoolyard with all the snow we got yesterday?  Are there any lots nearby that I'm not going to have to sell a kidney to afford?

MUDPT

I live a mile from Schoolyard, we didn't get that much snow, so you should be able to find some parking around there.  I'm going to the game tonight, but Schoolyard was packed for UWM.  There were a lot of non MU people there that night though.  Murphy's Bleachers (yes the same one outside of Wrigley Field) always had an MU flag out last year in the winter.

That is because James Murphy is a MU alum.
But I like to throw handfuls...
