Mo Acker getting teabagged by Chris Wright is now a lead 'story' over on the Big Lead via the link below.

Boom goes the dynamite, Maurice

MU B2002

I guess I am still in the minority for thinking this was not an impressive dunk.

Although Mo could take some lessons from another guys his size...

O come on.  It's impressive in its effortlessness.  Granted Mo is short, but he leaped him like a hurdler.

MU B2002

True, I guess from the videos I have seen it is hard to tell that he went straight over Mo.  Oh well.

It was very impressive in person.

That dunk was a giant exclamation point that the game was over.

Seems to me that Acker simply turned and Wright went by him.  Remember that play when I watched the game on replay and did not really get the impression at that time that the guy went over him.

Yeah, I agree.  From what I can tell, Wright's feet are both on the same side of Mo.  That said, it was a thunderous dunk, but I don't think he "Vince Cartered" Acker.

dwaderoy2004

he's only to the side of Mo because Mo flinched at the end.  Mo went down to take the charge, and then got the f out of the way before he got hit.  i was sitting on the end line on that side of the floor.  Wright would have cleared him with ease.

i couldnt believe that dunk when I saw it live, courtside at half-court.  When he took off I was thinking "who does this guy think he is? he is way too far away." next thing you know he slammed it down and I was laughing my ass off and ridiculously impressed.  It did look like he cleared Mo from my angle, but the video shows otherwise.  I was thinking it was bigger than washington over paulus a couple years ago, because paulus was at least pussin' out and taking a charge, whereas acker never left his feet. i guess its not as big as i thought now that you see he was too the side, but like dwaderoy said, he easily could have cleared him.

mu_hilltopper

Chalk me up as someone who didn't think it was that amazing.  He brazed Mo.  Never thought much of dunks anyhow.

I'll take a sweet Novak 3 falling away any day of the week.

Agreed.  It was incredible in person but he did go off to the side over a 5'-?" guy.  Vince Carter went right over a guy 7'-0" making his much more impressive.

Any semi-athletic guy taking a chance can dunk on a most likely 5'7 Mo Acker
