Sending out Christmas cards soon?  Do it with a Marquette stamp.

Written by: noreply@blogger.com (muwarrior92)

I stumbled across this today.  Stamps.com has a collegiate stamps section that includes Marquette.  So when you are ready to send out those Christmas cards this year, consider using a Marquette stamp to do so.  A portion of the proceeds goes to MU.

That's some pretty hefty markup!

100 Marquette Stamps = $69.95
100 Stamp at Post Office = $42.00

Difference = $27.95

I tried to leave this comment on Cracked Sidewalks but was not able to.  Do you need an account somewhere to leave comments over there?

Yeah, you need to sign up with a blogger account in order to post at CS now.  It's pretty easy.

The "anonymous" posters went haywire starting after the Stanford loss and continuing through the Crean departure so we turned that capability off.

And I agree... hefty markup

Indeed, but at least some of it is going to MU Rah Rah.
