Guards are not slashers. Forwards are slashers. I can live with the classification of Wesley as a slasher, although he's more of an athletic garbage-type player if you ask me.
So what do you call a guard who scores the majority of his points by driving to the basket?

Just about anybody who knows basketball would call that a slasher.  I guess Red would just call him a guard that isn't a shooter; maybe a non-shooting shooting guard?
