New coach, new game plan
« on: November 19, 2008, 05:51:10 PM »
I find it very interesting to see how early on some players are thriving and some are struggling with the new coach and game plan. Obviously DJ and Burke so far have had the hardest time adjusting. At the same time, Wes is just exploding. Seems Lazar and Rel are handling the changes okay so far.

I expect DJ and Burke to adjust fine over time.  Glad to see Wes getting his chance to step forward.

I like the new offense.

DJ needs no time to "adjust" .. he's running the offense just fine.  He is not shooting well, but that's not because of a new "system."

Agreed... DJ was 2 of 9 from FT.  He makes 5 more of those and he would have had 13, a decent night.

I think DJ has adapted well...he is being more of a true point guard!  Steve Nash is throwing up 30 pts a night, and he is considered a decent guard, why, because he takes care of the ball and makes his teammates better!

+1, except DJ needs to shoot the ball more efficiently (good luck with that)
