Buzz says on pre-game Wes practiced all of 4 minutes yesterday before a teammate stepped on the back of his foot and strained his achilles.

Says he isn't listening to the trainer on this one, Wes needs to play regardless.

Let's stop the bleeding, we've had enough injuries for a season.

Did Buzz say he isn't listening to the trainer? I sure hope he didn't say that...

Clearly, Wes wasn't bothered, as he almost topped his new career high. Still, these days we breathe a sigh of relief whaen a day goes by and there's no new additions to the MASH unit...

Wes played well but clearly was bothered by something.  He had a few dunk opportunities that resulted in either a miss or a lay-in.  Even the announcers mentioned that he is usually explosive but he finished a break-away with a finger roll.

The missed dunk wasn't because he was lacking explosiveness.  He jumped higher than he normally does and just lost the handle on the ball.  So instead of dunking it, he ended up throwing the ball across the court and right at the bench.  I think that missed dunk is probably the reason he didn't go for the dunk on the breakaway, he didn't want to miss two in a row.
