Warrior Forever

According to ESPN.com, Snaer will announce his decision live today on ESPNU at 3 PM Central.  It lists the aforementioned schools (FSU, KU and Marquette) as the final three.

Who is Snaer? Never heard of him...

OneMadWarrior

Does Wilson announce today to, he is still considering Marquette right? ;D

No.  Jamil isn't announcing today and may not announce until the spring.

Not me.  I am assuming someone is with over 150 on here right now

There goes your chance for 2 breaking news posts in one day!

I know.  I guess I have a 1 in 3 chance of breaking the right news

We have ESPNU in my dorm room.  I haven't seen anything yet.  While MUScoop was too filled up with people to work I checked the Kansas and Florida State Forums, Kansas says he is going to be on ESPNU at 4:00 CT.  I'll let you know if I see anything.

Kansas board is saying Snaer to FSU.  Was that announced on the U?  Or is that just some guy's guess?

Edited to add:  it was a guess.  Sorry if I got anyone worked up.

This feels like that day Shumpert had the 3 caps on the table in front of him.  Hopefully a different result!

Ugh we suck again, Why can't we get that elite prospect, darn Milwaukee.

HAH!  We have like the #5  recruiting class in the nation right now.  I guess we don't have any elite prospects, with 3 in the top 100.

OneMadWarrior

Yes 50-100 that does not make it elite, elite is top 25, top 30 who was the last guy Marquette had in that range not named Terry Sanders.

I'll take 3 top 30 (Maymon is #33 in some places)-100 players than 1 top 20 player any day.  Just ask Kansas State.  They got Beasley for 1 year and didn't do much with him, and now they have nothing.

Beasley took them to a level the program had not been at since the days of Mitch Richmond, he was a prgram changer, I don't' necessarily think Snaer is either, but you need tha tguy to change the perception that its okay to go to this school if you ar e atop flight recruit, that is the only way you build on program success. Its taking it to the next level.

per ESPN.com on Snaer today...

The combo guard, who often does his best work on the defensive end, loves the Midwestern lunch-pail approach of the Golden Eagles' program.

"Those guys work really hard. I know how hard they work to be successful. Coach [Brent "Buzz"] Williams is always prepared, and they've been there [recruiting me] the whole way."
