This just in, Cubie had a boot on this morning. Not sure what is wrong. He was on the phone so I didn't bother asking him.  Will let the board know if I find out.

EDIT: sprained ankle during practice. in more pain than he expected so he's in the boot.

Buy stock in boot manufacturing companies.

hopefully the injury bug will hit early this year and everyone will be healthy from January to March.

clearly these injuries are hold overs from crean running practices too hard last year right?

I think in a way this is good news. When I saw the headline that he was hurt, I immediately thought he reinjured one of his shoulders. That would have been worse than a sprained ankle.

jficke13

it's an achilles tendon strain. Buzz told the press at media availability last night. officially cuby is day-to-day, but i wouldn't hold my breath expecting him to play in a meaningless game tomorrow.

Pardner

Is this another human truck & tractor pull injury?  My gosh

NCMUFan

I wish David a quick recovery.  But the silver lining.  Do you see Jimmy Butler getting more playing time to make a quicker transition from JUCO to Division I?

77ncaachamps

I wish him a quick recovery too, but he seriously needs the rest and recuperation from this and the shoulder injuries.

I agree, originally he was not suppose to be ready until late December. This injury is not a big deal.

muwarrior87

he felt better today, had the boot off for a while too this afternoon.

Daniel

Other than the achilles strian, is Cubie ready to play?  His shoulders are rehabbed?

StillWarriors

At Marquette Madness, he said his shoulders felt real good and he's ready to go. His shot looked good that night too. Let's hope he bounces back after the rough year last year-he provides a nice lift when he's healthy.
