Nearly 300 students took them up on the offer of a bus trip, game ticket, and 2 nights lodging in Detroit. The Board is paying for it out of their own pockets. Wow.

So the only way you can get people to travel to Detroit now is to pay for it?   :)

Kidding aside, this is great for the Davidson students.  I wonder why only 300 kids or so decided to go.  A road trip to the Sweet Sixteen and somebody else is paying for it, how can you say no?

On ESPN this morning they stated that they could not find enough buses for more than 300 students.
But I like to throw handfuls...

Maybe it was the 11 hour bus ride.

POLL:

MU is offering the same deal to students to Houston. Would you go? Thats like at least a 12 hour trip.
