In my 68 years as a Dayton Flyers basketball fan, I cannot recall Dayton ever turning the ball over 25 times in a road game and still winning the game. Last Wednesday, the Flyers got their butts kicked in Cincinnati, but had 'only' 13 turnovers in the game:

We are talking 17 seconds, not three.  Inexcusable for a major college program and I cannot recall a team not getting off a shot with 17 seconds to go.

If Dayton didn't have 100 turns, this game would not have been competitive. The result of these probs?  A complete dumpster 🔥

What about Fieldhouse? For all the pithy "Dayton sucks" entries on this board, look at our recent record vs. them. Need to take a real look at who sucks.

It will. I don't envision Marquette renewing their home-and-home series with Dayton for a long time. Best of luck to the Golden Eagles for the rest of the season. I might check back here in March 2026, but certainly not before then, so good-bye for now.
