We've had chances. We lost road games to UCONN, Nova, SJU, and a home game to Creighton. We don't need other teams to prop us up. Gonzaga typically has no issues playing in a bad league. I'm fine rooting against BE teams with Shaka as our coach.

This is exactly why, early in the season, I posted (but not in these words) that scoopers celebrating our BE brethren's OOC losses were also celebrating a weaker BE.  It has bitten us in the ass. Not Rocket Science. 

It's easy to forget this, but before conference play started most everyone would've guessed the BE is a 3 bid league again this year.

Thing is, the conference turned out to be so weak that it sort of cannibalized itself a bit and now it's looking at 4 certain bids and a possible 5th.

With a bit of collusion the musketeers can roll to the BET finals and gather some more dough too 😂
