Marquette currently has the 7th longest streak of being ranked in the AP poll at 34 weeks.

We are also 7th on the historical streak list at 166 weeks from 1970–1980.  The only names ahead of us:  Kansas, UCLA, Duke twice, and North Carolina twice.  The bluest of the blue bloods!

Take that UConn.

Yep. They can have their back-to back nattys. We have something of much greater value.

Need a display of newspapers from all 166 weeks.

To be fair, UConn is above us in the current list.  But our decade in the polls surpasses any streak they have.  We did win a naty and were the runner up during that run as well.

What UConn has done in the past 25 years is incredible and probably the best run in history other than Wooden at UCLA.  That will never happen again.

CBP profile my people who landed here over 100 yrs before Mayflower. Most I've had to deal with are ignorant & low IQ.
Can't believe we're living in the land of F 452/1984/Animal Farm/Brave New World/Handmaid's Tale. When travel to Mars begins, expect Starship Troopers
