Samurai also said Wojo was a candidate at Utah State.....wouldn't that be something.

MUDPT

Sounds like Roger Powell at Valpo now.

Funny that Wojo being a candidate seems solely due to him living in Park City.  "Relative convenience" is a pretty poor standard.

I think Utah State would be fortunate to get him.

I'm glad he's gone.  But many schools would kill for his record.   And you never know, he may have learned something while at MU.

Mu8891

Right.

Utah St could do FAR worse.  If he's interested I hope he gets it

Stew "The Legend" Morrill's  shadow hangs all over that job like a pall.

WellsstreetWanderer

If true, he deserves a shot at it
Wish him well

I think that's a good hire for the Ags

Agreed. Improved his metrics every season at Montana State, NCAA bids each of the past two years, seems like a solid hire.

source?

Kind of funny but when VCU opened up earlier I thought that would be a good landing spot for Wojo, at least in the short term. Southern/Eastern school that's a top 3 job in that conference. He could have out-recruited most of the A10 and I don't think the coaching quality is there to overcome that. Then VCU went and took Utah State's coach.
