I remember Josh Gates on one of his shows being wary of the camels, and for good reason. They are often ornery and have a deadly side kick (aka cow kick) that they can nail you with.

Humans are fortunate that, with very few rare exceptions, horses do not use their immense strength against humans brutalizing them. They can easily do what that camel did. Of course, a human could try to outrun the horse, right?
