Our Big East bubble talk doesn't feel as robust as recent years. The main team that's been on the bubble is quickly moving off it while there are three others on the outside looking in that could get into the bubble discussion with a hot finish. Can any of those teams go on the run it will take to become a discussion point in the Selection room? Cracked Sidewalks looks at what that will take, along with a new S-Curve and bracket.

It's pretty interesting to me that about a month ago most would have said that 4 BE bids was by far the most likely scenario, with 5 being a long shot.

Fast forward to today and it seems like 5 is extremely likely, with 6 a possibility.

I know the bids aren't handed out by conference, just an interesting twist.
UConn struggling in conference has helped the conference as a whole, it seems.

5 bids is a lock.

Mathematically it isnt quite yet. But logically it is.

WIll be interesting to see if Seton Hall can find a way to be a 6th. Or if a team like Nova can win the auto bid.

If Nova goes 8-2 in the second 10 games, are they in?

Using the T Rank forecast tool, 8-2 with losses at Creighton and Providence would put Nova as the last team in the field.

Maybe the committee bumps them up a bit due to injuries early in the season.  But 8-2 looks like the minimum to get in the bubble discussion.
