Had tickets to see The Stones for the first time at Ford Field in May of 2020. Obviously that didn't happen and now I'll never get to see them with Watts. Major bummer

You did kinda wait awhile. The Stones have had a few tours.

One of my favorite lyrics has a reference to him. John Hiatt's Slow Turning.

Now I'm in my car
I got the radio on
I'm yellin' at the kids in the back seat
'Cause they're bangin' like Charlie Watts

No doubt about it. I dragged ass and should've seen them earlier. The same thing happened with Tom Petty. Had plenty of opportunities to see him, I passed, and now regret it big time.

To be somewhat fair though, I am only 33 so it's not like I could've seen them in their prime

I saw the Stones in '78 at Anaheim Stadium . My theory was it was probably going to be my only chance to see them live .

You're right--nobody thought Keith Richards was gonna make it to 40.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I saw Pink Floyd at Camp Randall in 1988 and both The Who and the Stones at Alpine Valley in 1989.  I thought "glad I caught them when I did cause man are they getting old."

I was going into HS in the summer of '89 and not yet old enough to get myself to Alpine.  I remember being so mad I missed my last chance ever to see The Who.

I saw The Who a couple years ago. Pete Townshend still rips but Roger Daltrey's voice is absolutely shot

They had an orchestra backing them up which was pretty cool

And I thought I was lucky after Tim the Rock and Roll Animal sat on a billboard in 1982 to bring the Who to MKE for their Farewell tour. How many farewell tours has the Who embarked on since the 1st after Moon died?

The Stones opened their 1997 Bridges to Babylon Tour at Soldier Field. I remember being amazed by how much energy Mick had on the stage for such a fossil!
