Sounds easy. Try it.

The Thing

To date myself back in the late 80s we were buying cases of Rhinelander and Red White and Blue in returnable bottles for $3.89 at Pick-n-Save.

As for the Borg trend I think part of it comes down to safety. You control what you put into it so if you want to make it really weak you can and nobody would know. Also, nobody can drop anything into it very easily if you are always holding it.

And at Marquette Liquors. (ahhhh... Richie, Paulie, The Old Man and Ma.  Pawn Stars before its time).  They hired me after I bounced a check (probably buying a $3.89 case of Rhinelander).

And case race - or as we called it, erase a case - was a thing.  And idiotic.

Quote from: swoopem on February 25, 2025, 10:22:34 AMIf I remember correctly, a keg (if you had the barrel) of Busch light was $40 when I was in school 2006-2010

Incredible deal

Is there really any price at which Busch Light becomes an incredible deal?

Sure, when you're making money off it by serving it to freshmen.

It seems a little easier than the Century Club game we used to play in the late 80's. That's a shot of beer every minute for a hundred minutes, with doubles at 11, 22, 33, etc. It amounts to about 9-10 beers in an hour and 40 minutes. Saw several people lose it when they got around 80-90 minutes in.

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Death march.  Go to the bars farthest away from campus.  One beer in every bar working your way back toward campus until you puke.
Fearless and cheerful because it is so much fun.
