As for emotions settling after 3 months, this isn't some heartbreaking last second tourney loss that's still very raw.  This is the culmination of months of ineptitude and frustration

Yep. Didn't say it wasn't.
If we are all thinking alike, we're not thinking at all. It's OK to disagree. Just don't be disagreeable.

If we could somehow average out your location in Michigan and mine in Minnesota, we might instantaneously appear at the Fiserv on gamedays.

If only we had a quantum physicist to figure that out...

Been a season ticket holder close to 35 years now, fan for 57 years.

Depend on friends who i share tickets with..if they still want to go I'll get them, if not ...probably not.

WarriorPride68

Can we trade rosters & staff with UWM next year? Then people would be excited

Make it so.

Definitely. And I'll still support them and root for them each game. But I don't need to continue to attend under the current staff. Tickets will be cheap if I want to get to a game or two.

I do genuinely like the kids on the team so maybe I'll reconsider. I'm imagining the boos, the environment, if the environment is going to be more hostile than fun then I'm not sure I want to attend.

Being a true fan is part of the reason this is a difficult decision. I want what's best for Marquette basketball, and I have absolutely zero doubt that is the dismissal of Steve Wojciechowski as head coach of the Men's team. And while might voice might be small and donations not as consequential as some others, ending them or cutting them to the smallest amount I need to make to retain points might be the biggest statement I can make. Especially if the ticket goes unused, the concessions and other money remains unspent, and the program has to adapt to that small piece of suffering. If it's just me, it won't do anything. But if there are 1,000 like me, maybe it will. If there are 5,000 like me, it certainly will.

Wojo need to go...7 years and he's regressing as a coach, not evolving in the least. Do the Wojo supporters think that in year 8 he's suddenly going to turn the corner. Should've happened long before now. He's completely clueless and can't make sensible in game adjustments, and the mistakes - turnovers - just keep occurring. Am I missing something, am I watching MU hoops, but seeing a different game? There's talent, but even at the pro level talent requires coaching. The program is at rock bottom, and the guy who got it there is not the guy who's going to turn it around...he's no capable!

muwarrior69

The program sucks, but I will go see the team play Seton Hall at the Rock and St. Johns at the Garden while I still can. I'll be 75 next year and hope to see us competitive again in the not to distant future, but with the current administration I don't have my hopes set to high.

BrewCity83

Don't get me wrong, I would fire Wojo today if the decision were mine.  He's lost my support.

But I'm still going to renew my tickets and go to as many games as I can fit into my schedule whether he's still here next year (ugh) or not.  It's my team and it's still fun for me to go to games.  I've been a Packer fan since the '70s and '80's when they sucked.  I've been a Brewers fan throughout their existence.  Sure, the games are a lot more fun when my team is winning games and especially having postseason success, but they're still fun when the team sucks.

Sorry if I'm "sending the wrong message to the Administration" by not withholding my money, but I'm still gonna support my team.

See you there! I'll be doing the same...throwing in Providence at the Dunk and UCONN at the XL center (the trashiest, least tech savvy and most rundown arena on the East Coast) for good measure!

PhillyWarrior

Absolutely not. 30+ year season ticket holder.  Will not support a team lead by Wojo.  No winning culture, no identity, no improvement.  I think he is more of a friend of the players than an authoritarian leader.  Kids need tough love, Wojo coddles them with hugs

I've had enough

I will be renewing mine. This year highlighted how much we count on events like sporting events, movies, etc. for enjoyment and entertainment. Our two daughters who live in the area (both alumni) alternate going to games with me and we enjoy the outings. The games are more exciting and enjoyable when the team is competing for conference championships and NCAA berths but, at least for now, we'll keep going. But, there is a point where we would lose interest.
