Quincy McKnight, Romaro Gill, and Myles Powell are gone from the best team Kevin Willard has had. While there will be a lot of new parts on offense, they have a big man that can fill it up in Mamukelashvili and a ton of athletic, versatile wings to sustain the defense. Can Willard fit these pieces together?

The Google old days

The Big East

I think this will be the same basic Seton Hall team of recent years.  Very physical overall with a handful  of  talented individuals.

Mamu came on strong last year after the injury . I think Aiken will be healthy. Mold on had had a year to acclimate to the team and practice at The Big East level every day so He should be a solid contributor.

Seton Hall will be a good early season experience for the young players  . Will give them exposure to what the Big East is all about .

I can't believe Mamu hasn't graduated yet...

Any word on the health of Aiken?

I saw a quote from Willard that was something along the lines of a reasonable timetable for his return iss their game against Providence (the game after us). IIRC, that quote was a week or two ago. So it seems possible that he could have made a speedier recovery than originally thought but until we hear otherwise, I think it is more likely that he is out.

Thanks, any word on Sy? Has the University even put out anything official regarding his injury, or are we just assuming broken toe?

This was from Jon Rothstein today: Seton Hall's Bryce Aiken (ankle) still has no updated timetable for a potential return, per Kevin Willard. Pirates are at Marquette on Thursday.

Assume he'll be out for tomorrow.

PGsHeroes32

It helps if hes out

But even if he plays hes probably not gonna be 100%/in full game shape.
