Decent preview.  I think they are right.  Creighton most likely wins.  Hoping for the best though.  Go MU!

The Big East

I would like to see the typical high scoring fast paced Creighton game.   I know the conventional wisdom says we need to slow the pace. However, I think our guys would do well in a shoot out type game where the defense was limited. Less dribbling the ball around and less chances for turnovers.

That would be catastrophically bad. Let's get into a shootout with a team that scores the ball much better than us at just about every level, and especially from the 3 point arc.

No thank you.

Yeah, I just don't see how we win a shootout. Our best chance is to force them into a grind it out affair in the 60s or maybe low 70s.

I (happily) stand corrected.

Actually, you don't stand corrected Gooo. Marquette held Creighton to 67 possessions this game, that's (tied for) the lowest amount of possessions Creighton has had in a game this season. This was very slow for a Creighton game....both offenses were just incredibly efficient with their possessions. You'll notice that on KenPom our offensive efficiency shot up like a light and our defensive efficiency dropped like a stone.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.
