Congtats to Loyola-Chi, Moser, the entire Rambler team, and of course Sister Jean!

And do not forget the legacy of the 1963 Loyola Ramblers.    Hopefully they ramble on.....

Had the pleasure of being in a running group with Jerry Harkness a few years back. Clearly a gentleman and a scholar. You could not meet a nicer, nor a more competitive guy. Still fighting the good fight. Go Ramblers.

Went to MU undergrad Finance and MBA but Loyola was my other finalist for MBA. Loyola has a huge banner up on campus letting people know Loyola is the only school in the state of Illinois with a Chip!

In the 60's we played them every year, twice, as well as St. Louis.

So much for your so-called statistics.  Go Loyola, a credit to their name.

I'm 37 but grew up in Chi and my Uncle graduated from U of C in 1964.  He followed Loyola when he was in college and has always been a huge fan.  I've heard many stories from him about the character of the players on that squad.  All of those men wound up doing tremendously well in the world and it was mostly outside of basketball.  The documentary about that  '63 tean is outstanding and they are as important to the history of college hoops as the '66 Tex-Western squad.

I always loved when we had Loyola on the schedule. Great memories of MU playing them when I was little guy.

Yep. I also looked forward to the games against Loyola. And I loved it when the Marquette-Loyola series made it into the Bob Newhart Show.

Dr. Blackheart

Was sitting next to Doc at the Chicago Amphitheater vs. Loyola when I told him to commit to MU and he learned over and whispered in my ear he is in.

And that was a great rivalry. Just like No Dick. The good old days.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Post of the week, Doc!

Was our last game against Loyola when they had ODB's brother?

Very happy for Loyola!  Did my undergrad work there, and grad at Marquette.  Happy to see Loyola advance!
