Wojos fatal flaw that sabotaged the season

For 30 games now we gave heard Wojo say that Koby is in a "funk" and needs to regain his confidence.  I will hold that apart from 20 minutes against Purdue and 10 minutes against Xavier he has been a complete trainwreck and not just bad but horrible. Today like every game he makes 4-5 plays that you would not expect anyone to make more than a few times a year.  How many times has he, while not even being contested, thrown the ball into the stands and on and on and on.

Wojo has submarined the entire season by attempting to let him play out of his funk and to build confidence thru on court success.  Wojo has failed the team and Marquette nation with his steadfast belief in Koby.  Long ago he should have transitioned to more Greg and Sy and gotten Koby off the floor.  When ur play is beyond abyssmal for 58 out of 60 halves it may go beyond a confidence issue.  When u airball uncontested layups one after another, whether its confidence or not it is a results based game.

I think it is noble and admirable that Wojo is attempting to heal Koby's psyche.  Yet he has sabotaged the entire season while trying to salvage one player. I will contend that Koby has been a very very bad basketball player for 5 months now and that we had better options.

I will also contend that with 58 out of 60 halves being absolutely brutal that maybe it goes beyond mental or that the current approach isnt working.

Wojo has miserably failed this team with his fatal flaw being his unwavering belief that Koby is the best option and that he will play himself out of being an extremely bad basketball player.
Political free board, plz leave your clever quips in your clever mind.

I didn't even bother reading this unreadable run-on paragraph. But this team's issues go far beyond Koby.

Do you always find a single player to abuse? This issue is not koby.

This is about Wojo, not Koby.

What is the issue? I love the posters who provide no alternate theory and just scream "you're wrong"!

Agree, I couldn't read it either. But also agree that Koby has disappointed hugely.
Also agree that he's not the only problem - Bailey almost completely since @SHU, and Sacar except for a couple of (Sam Jones "too late") spurts, have been negligible contributors.
In the middle, Theo has regressed, and imagine how it will be next year without Jayce.

But to the topic, if KM is our lead point next year we are in the deep stuff. Sy may show progression, but it's got to be substantial. My hope is that it is said that a couple of our incoming frosh have excellent handles - maybe they can avert the flood of breakaway jams.
