Takes one to know one.

How’s the verdict...is it still in?   LOL.

I think he believes that at some point Theo and Jayce are both going to get in foul trouble.

Yeah, I think at some point we're going to run out of bodies and be in a tough spot.

That said, a line-up of Markus, Koby, Sacar, Cain and Bailey might be better than Markus, Koby, Sacar, Bailey and Morrow. Bailey's interior defense is really outstanding.

Prior to season I was more optimistic because of what I heard about Jayce and Koby and I jumped off their bandwagon too quickly.

It's a Scoop tradition with transfers. We'll all learn eventually...maybe. It is great to see them playing so well, and definitely makes us a much more balanced and dangerous team.

While Markus is still not a world beater on defense, he has still shown strides this year. Using more body and less hands and taking the occasional charge. He looked like james harden on defense last year.

Unless you get another player or the player is causing locker room issues, I don't believe in addition by subrtaction, and I've never heard about any off court issues involving Ed. I think Jayce is finally healthy, McEwen broke out of his slump, and Anim took his game to another level (until today).

While Ed seemed like a great guy and a positive presence on the team, his constant, brutal mistakes mounted: the only 'addition by subtraction' I could see is not having to deal with those travels, dumb fouls, and misplaced aggression.  Replacing that with a legit high-level big man has paid huge dividends.

Completely agree with your main points of why things have turned around, TAMU.  If 2 of Greg, Jamal, or Symir can become even more reliable and Wojo continues to show he'll pull out the leash with Markus, I think we can keep things going down the stretch.

That said, a line-up of Markus, Koby, Sacar, Cain and Bailey might be better than Markus, Koby, Sacar, Bailey and Morrow. Bailey's interior defense is really outstanding.

It almost happened at Georgetown. As I sat there surrounded by screaming GT fans, when Jayce picked up #4 with like 11 minutes left, and Theo already had 4, and we were trailing in the game, I turned to my wife and quietly said: "We might be totally effed."

Jayce did end up fouling out, but not until 2 minutes remained, and Theo avoided #5. But that was a team with height and power down low, and it would have been nice to have had Morrow available.

Otherwise, though, the bigs have done a nice job post-Morrow of not both being in foul trouble the same game. And I agree that against many teams (perhaps even most) we could not just survive but even thrive in short stretches with the lineup you mentioned.

Still, there might be a game or two where Wojo will have to tap Gardiner on the shoulder and say, "This is why you've got a scholarship, son ... now go bust some heads!"
