Against Nova

Pomeroy has it at minus 2.

Nova bettors got gutted when Ayers allowed a Creighton shot after the buzzer in Nova's last game.
That was his second such screwup this week, and of course we remember the great job he did calling fouls on Theo. Sure hope we don't see him today.

First time we are favored against Nova in our last 14 games against them...Nova 3-12-1  as underdogs in Feb or later in conference play since 2010.

That's a crazy stat. Going on 10 years, they've been underdogs in just 16 conference games, an average of less than twice per year. At a quick count, that includes 90 games, many of which probably took place in the non-NCAA year of 2012 (my guess is 1-6 that year). So in the other 9 years, just 9 times they've been an underdog? Wow.

The NCAA released a statement about putting added scrutiny on those kinds of calls due to the recent changes in gambling laws. That call this week was just awful. Even though it doesn't change the outcome of the game, that kind of call needs to be reviewed.
