Let's Hear It for the Bench
« on: December 22, 2018, 08:56:19 AM »
And I don't mean Ed and Jamaal....I am talking about the guys who aren't seeing any minutes.

I just love seeing their enthusiasm and support for their teammates..  On the Jumbotron last night there were plenty of closeups of their reactions to great plays.  Watching them go crazy (and some cases, swooning) was almost as fun as watching the game itself.

How often does a bench get a warning by the refs?  It was awesome!

In all the highlights the bench is getting some serious air time. Love their enthusiasm. How fun would it be to be a walk on with this team!

Quite a bit actually and I hate when the refs do it. They aren’t hurting anyone by celebrating their teammates.

Matt Heldt missed his calling. He should’ve been a theater major.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

He is very good on the bench.

My daughter who is in theatre at an Arts high school commented that surely one of those guys is a theatre major.
Watching the bench is her favorite part of the game!

I think Cam got more screen time than Marcus last night.
