He signed with Szolnoki Olaj, the 1st place team in Hungarian league last year.  They qualified for Europe cup last year and now can qualify for Europe Champions league which - if they do - makes them one of the top 25 teams in Europe.  This is a quite a good team.

That's not really accurate.  The top leagues in Europe do not send their top teams to the Champions League.  They send them to the EuroLeague.  The Champions League is a catch all for the lower leagues.  If they qualify they will play against the third and fourth place teams from the top leagues.

IOW, they may be the top team in Hungary, but the Hungarian basketball league is not very good.  Ranked 12 out of the 16 professional leagues in Europe.
