Sam is very, very good.    What will his scoring averages look like as a junior and senior when he is no longer required to play 35 mpg? The team is going to have lots of depth, I doubt he plays as much.  How will he do against SF's?    Will he be able to defend SF's?

He'll still lead the team in minutes, and I'd argue they won't be reduced much if at all.  Like Buzz said about JFB, it's hard to take him off the floor.

I think, especially against the cupcakes, his minutes will be reduced and managed, giving other opportunities.    During conference and against the big OOC opponents, OK.

Sam's usage rate almost surely goes up when Rowsey leaves.  More than enough to offset a slight decrease in minutes.

in the next few years, Sam will get max minutes possible and a lot of the offense will flow through him. I think you are correct, against cupcakes some of his minutes will be distributed to others who need some game reps. That is of course we are blowing the cupcakes out and not having a repeat of Eastern Illinois.
