Game day article from the Cincinnati Enquirer

https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/college/xavier/2017/12/26/no-6-xavier-kicks-off-big-east-conference-play-marquette/947197001/

Lazy article.  At least he found Sacar, and Matt Heldt is a force.

No reason we can't run the table on X again. They are essentially the same team, and we've added Theo, Harry, et al.

X is doomed cause their #FTmattas.

They mentioned that Georgetown is currently third in the BIG EAST.  I get they are technically, but come on, any college basketball fan knows that non-conference record has no bearing on conference standings once the conference season starts, so why even bring it up?

Technically, there is a ten way tie for first at the present.  Non-conference records no matta.

By the end of the week all that standings stuff will start to shake out. Will be interesting to see where everyone is headed.

Also good observation that X has the same personnel as last year...why not beat them again? Simple, yes?  ;D

Since they were Elite 8, MU will be National Champion!

Speaking of lazy, according to the Washington Post MU and DePaul joined the BE in 2013.

Exactly...Kanter has been really good, Naji Marshall is ridiculously talented and figuring it out, Kaiser Gates was there last year but is much more of a factor now. Bluiett has had a shoulder issue seemingly like Luke's at times. Aggravated it in their last game against UNI; will be interesting to see if that affects him at all.

Dear lord this is lazy. How can she call herself a sports writer?

Also, why didn't this get fixed by an editor?
