Sacar sounds like an outstanding young man and a versatile, talented, coachable, hard-working basketball player. I'm glad he's our newest Warrior!

For those with some insight or info, what position does Sacar project to play?

We will be in need of a 2G and a Wing.  Is he quick enough to defend a 2G?

Can he shoot well enough to play 2G on offense?

If we don't land Elliot or a grad transfer at the 2G or Wing, someone will have to step up, especially on defense.  I know Hauser can play the wing on offense, but I'm not so sure about defense at the Wing.  If Froling isn't quick enough to play the 4 on defense, then Hauser may need to play some 4 again.

Position no matta. Sam will be on the floor. If the lineup is 3 guards and a big, Sam is the 4. If the lineup is 2 guards and 2 bigs, Sam is the 3.

Matchups will be another factor. Seton Hall is an example of a team that plays bigs. But many teams play small. Xavier and Villanova come to mind.

If he can D up the wing, board a bit, and drain the open trey bombs at 38%+ (Jajuan's clip), he'll be a very valuable piece this coming season.

If he just get back on D, and block out and rebound, big help.  JJJ and Katin,  usually feel asleep on that side of the court.

I would love to see Anim contribute, but I'm reticent to get too excited. Sure, I remember the practice stories about Dwyane Wade, and those proved accurate (and then some) but I also remember hearing about how good Dan Fitzgerald would be. Sometimes the guy sitting out is great, sometimes he's just great in practice.

Well then...maybe I'm being harsh on Fitz. Anyone know if he has any eligibility left? He might be a heck of a player by the time he hits 18

I hope so. Even though it's just for a few days it really makes the off-season go faster. Can't wait for the summer after this when we can have a Europe trip and the TBT tournament. It'll be like there is no off-season
