Nope but I do have Northwestern beating Gonzaga

My money would be on NW losing to Vandy.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I'm with you.

I think Vandy got too high of a seed, but they pass my eye test lately, outside of the clunker vs. Arkansas

I have Nova but I think if Wisco beats VT they will be a serious threat to Nova. They obviously got screwed on their seed and are a very good, battle-tested team.

My Big East bias shows in some of my other picks.. I have PC winning the play in game then beating SMU and Baylor. I have have Creighton in the Sweet 16.

Go Marquette and go Big East!

I wish.  I think Vandy beats NW and then gets rocked by the Zags.  What a gift of a draw for the Zags.  The top 8, 9, 4, and 5 all stink in that bracket.  Even the 3, 6, and 7 are horrible for their seeds.  I wanted to take the Zags out in the 2nd round, but I can't see any way it's not Gonzaga vs. Arizona in the Elite 8.

I'd be happier with your scenario than mine. I think Notre Dame takes out Gonzaga. Better on both ends than anyone the Zags have seen since last year.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I've got Princeton taking out Notre Dame, its definitely my boldest upset pick. I also have the Zags reaching the Final Four. Partially because of an easy draw, partially because I think they are better than people are giving them credit for.

I get what you are saying, but until the Zags actually prove it in the tournament I will always pick them to fall early. The WCC is generally trash and I don't think you can play that level of competition for almost 3 months and ramp up for the tournament.

They did get gifted an easy bracket so I could see at least a S16 for them

They may, but they had wins against FSU, Pitt, Syracuse, and Louisville, all of whom have plenty of height. Granted, Karnowski is a beast, but it won't be unfamiliar territory for the Irish.

I mean I have a sense that UW should have been seeded higher, but objectively it is hard to make that case.  Their best non conference win was Marquette.

I agree. People cry foul because they were ranked all year long, but I think that's largely a product of expectations. On 5 top-50 wins, RPI 60 Marquette was their best non-con win, their three top-25 wins were barely top-25 (20 Minnesota twice, 25 Michigan at home), and their non-conference SOS of 276 was bad.

Add that to a down Big 10 and how can you really reward them for that? They could maybe be a line higher, but I even think a 6 is a stretch. Not over SMU, Cincy, or Creighton. Maybe Maryland, but if any Big 10 team really "deserved" that spot, it's Michigan, who had more top-25 and top-50 wins, better computer and RPI numbers, had the toughest non-con SOS of the three, and just won the league's tournament (proof that conference tournies no matter?).
