What scenario is most likely be a "play in" game in the BET? Seems to me like if somehow we face SH in the first round, with both of us at 9-9, that would have pretty high stakes.

We beat Creighton, it dont matta. Probably shouldnt matter right now unless there are a ton of bid stealers.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say our seed in the NCAA tourney doesnt matter too much this year.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

This. If we receive a bid, we graciously thank the selection committee and play our a$$es off, no matter where we are on the bracket.
Have some patience, FFS.

I know it's irrational speculation but getting to the sweet 16 would be a dream.

So if we did win an 8-9 seed facing gonzaga. Or a 12, beat a 5 and then a weak 4.

My dreaming doesn't take me as far as beating a 3,2 or 1 except Zags.

Sure we don't deserve the sweet 16 but I'm sure a team like us has gotten there in the past.

Yep.  Plenty of double digit seeds win these days.  We could easily be one of the first weekend "surprises" if we're playing well, or a one and done if we're not.

Teams like us have made it to the Final Four.  See LSU in '86 (11 seed) or 'Cuse last year (10 seed).  Not that I'm expecting it - I'd be happy getting in and playing a solid game or two - but stranger things have happened.

Herman Cain

I would like to see us win two games in the BET. That would be two more quality wins. Our NCAA resume would b very solid at that point.

I am planning on attending as many games at the Garden as possible.

Stay healthy, be competitive and have a gameplan designed to get Fischer and HC's heads into the game. We SHOULD win, but it is not the most important thing if we take care of business against Creighton.

I'm
Rooting for Indy. That's a game I could attend. If Friday.

Indy games will be Friday/Sunday. Along with Greenville, Tulsa, and Sacramento.

I'd love to see them make the BET title game..just because. Whatever happened there so be it.

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

MU has never made the BE title game in 11 years in the conference.   We are due.

That's perfect. See y'all in Indy.

I'm thinking even Tulsa or Greenville might not be too far to drive. Under 12 hours from Milwaukee. Might need to start a Scoop travel plan.
