This is very interesting. Thanks for posting. I see Xavier -- a non football school -- on the list and in a weaker conference than MU. I don't understand that at all.

One possible reason is that it ranks schools using "profit."  My guess is that MU's program grosses more, but also incurs more expenses than Xavier.  My two cents is that we would have been ranked had we bought one less hypoxic chamber this season.

or owned and played in our own high capacity arena.. less expense (building admin might not be counted as it is part of general university maintenance).

right, I just took X's seat licenses to be more than mu's.  but I have no idea what X charges for seats.
