I recognize Iowa was just one game and all, but if you had told me that Marquette was going to leave the Bradley Center that night, practice and go out and beat the 23rd ranked team in the country and then Arizona State, I probably would have laughed and wondered whether you would have needed serious rehab.

Given the magnitude of the breakdown in the Iowa game, I was afraid for the worst this year. I knew we had a lot of growing to do and I had expected we would be a good team by season's end. I saw nothing at the Iowa game that would cause me to believe we were going to do anything this year.

We're still addicted to turnovers and we're still taking ill-advised shots (Duane, yes, I'm talking about your late-game three-pointers). But hand it to Wojo. He turned this team around quickly and they were doing the things that Marquette teams do. We have a winner in Wojo and I'm getting my fan's mojo back!

I feel a bit better, but it's a young team, and a relatively young coach.  I expect more DuWil 3's . . .

Wojo didn't lose them after the Iowa meltdown.   I have little doubt it will still be a roller coaster ride, but it was a great bounce back and a pleasant two days.   Never complain about wins over power conference teams on a neutral floor.

"My clothing choice doesn't impact the outcome of the game!"

For 3-4 years now, I haven't worn baby blue t-shirts on game days. The first baby blue I bought I wore when we lost to LSU on the road. The second time I wore it was Vandy at home. I haven't worn baby blue on game day since.

Monday as I got dressed, I literally said out loud "what I wear doesn't impact the outcome of the game" and pulled on a baby blue shirt. We won. Yesterday, I contemplated wearing my other baby blue, but again said out loud "what I wear doesn't impact the outcome of the game" and threw on a gold sweatshirt. We won.

Time to throw out that superstition (that I never really believed in anyway) and just wear whatever on game day.

You just don't get it Brew.  And given your name, you should.  It isn't what you wear, it's what you drink.  I enjoyed a Ballast Point Dorado Double IPA during the LSU and then the ASU game.  (Grateful that I didn't grab that Coor's Light)  I still have one left-must replenish.

You're welcome everyone.

I'll stick with how I felt on Saturday...respect the process.

I did not vote for any of the above.

Mine would be that the Iowa game was like the 2008 stock market crash. The market has almost been straight up from there.

We now have four games against supposedly easy teams to get ready for UW. Win those & beat UW and I will get excited about basketball again.

An excellent choice. Their Paloma Pale would be my call but the Double IPA is a superb beverage.

We've turned it around.  Wojo has them headed straight to the FF after the McLoughlin Park practice.

-or-

Respect the process (more reasonable).  We're young, we'll have bad games, we'll have good games, and sometimes we'll have some of both and pull out the win.
