I had a 1-4 start in my preseason prediction, I'm sticking with it.

You made preseason predictions? Hadn't heard.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I don't need a win to be happy.  Thursday reset my expectations to being satisfied with a competitive game.  It the team plays hard, that will be a huge step forward.

Don't disagree Lens, but how sad is it that Marquette hopes/expectations against an unranked opponent on a neutral court are that we "try hard"? But maybe our fans who are squirmy with "expect victory" or "just win, baby" will be more comfortable with "try hard most of the time" as our new mantra.

I knew you'd say that.

Pressure is on. Two plus seasons of horrible ball has the natives restless. Aside from recruiting class I have seen little to be excited about in a long time. Not jumping ship but losing interest quickly.

We'll miss you.

Maybe if we don't make The Dance or the NIT we can get Participation awards.

First things first, if we don't try hard we will never win.

Fundamentals like rebounds and stopping turnovers have to come before we can even think about winning and time clock management by the coaches.
