That wasn't the case for the two Marquette games so far. It will be interesting to see how this affects the student dash to the seats at the beginning.

Guess they will have to dash one by one.   ;)   Seriously, there could be a real backup as far as getting in early to some games due to the students coming in groups via bus from the campus.

They should precheck the students in a separate area, give them a color coded wrist band and let them make their run.  Not hard, but it would take coordination.

The 'MUBB Insider' email said the same thing regarding increased security/metal detectors prior to the Belmont game, but I didn't notice anything new. I believe metal detectors are a new NBA requirement for this season. They were there when I attended a game this season, also heard they were present for the Bucks preseason game at the Kohl Center.

Maybe given more recent world circumstances they really will be used at MU games.

Are they checking for Syrian passports?

Back in the Milwaukee Arena era the goons at the door were maniacal in their quest to find the hidden beers we were all sneaking in. They should round up all of those guys and ship them over to Europe. They'll have the whole sleeper cell thing sorted out in no time.

Will never forget the time a few of us took dates to see a play and,  at a particularly poignant scene , one of us picked that moment to Crack open a can of PBR. The accoustics were excellent as you might imagine. The snickering ruined the moment for the playwrite.

That whole dash was dumb anyway.
