Matt,

Thanks for the great coverage of the Warriors.  It's greatly appreciated.

Were you able to swing the trip to Italy this summer with the team?

It is refreshing to see the beat writer actually getting to sit down and interview the coach.    Buzz freezing out that hack Hunt (who didn't really want the MU beat to begin with) did no one any favors.

Excellent report.  Thank you for your great coverage of Marquette basketball.

I hope Wojo keeps winning recruiting battles. If and when the time comes, I'm afraid that it is much less of a grind when recruiting between this 5 star or that 5 star at Duke. Fewer question marks, fewer late bloomers you hope to hit on, less projects, etc.
I hope he is here for the long haul.

Win every day!

Incidentally, Matt Velasquez was at the U.S.Open golf tournament in Koehler when the team was in Italy.

PGA Championship.    And who can blame him?
