Oh Henry!

I wouldn't expect the students to come up with this one, because they are way too young to remember.

Do any other old folks out there remember the candy bar commercial where Hank Aaron would blast a homer and the crowd would shout in unison, "Oh, Henry!".  I looked for it on YouTube, but could find it.

Anyway, wouldn't it be cool if that happened every time Henry Ellenson scored?  Just putting it out there.

IIRC, the was an occasional "Oh Henry" candy bar sign at MU games during Cordell's days.

During the game on Monday night, Mike J. dropped a few "Oh Henry's" when HE scored or had an assist.

Correct.  We actually started that with Mike Deane and did a promotion with the students when I was in the athletic department.

We had discussions with Nestle, who owned the rights to the candy.

The tricky part is that there are NCAA rules on how you can do it so as not to be seen as an endorsement for an athlete, etc.  So we had to include other candy in the process, if I recall.
