Recap of the previous round:
In a relatively low scoring affair, 5 years told Wade in Indiana shorts that it would have to wait for next year's tournament to advance.  In the first nail biting action, Sources eked out a 5 point victory over Maymon's Dad, because apparently Sources didn't account for the unaccountableness of Maymon's Dad.

5 years to evaluate a hire

Chicos makes the meme list again.  This time, the meme was generated out of the Buzz Williams hiring process.  Chicos, never a fan of the process, was interpreted to be anti-Buzz.  After a few successful years with Buzz Williams as coach, posters revisited this issue with a "I told you so".  Chico's response?  You have to wait 5 years to evaluate a process, it hasn't been 5 years.  Now as a meme any waiting time for a decision immediately defaults to 5 years.

Sources

Welcome to the world of coaching searches in the internet age.  Everyone has sources and in the post-Williams coaching search, apparently everyone's sources were spectacularly wrong.  All posters on Scoop had sources as to who the next coach of MU was going to be, and it turned out none of us did.  So any fact reporting now is derisively met with a demand for "sources"
"A Plan? Oh man, I hate plans. That means were gonna have to do stuff. Can't we just have a strategy......or a mission statement."
