What changes (if any) do you see Marquette making to gameday next year?

Marquette message boards - as well as the casual fan - noticed a huge downgrade this year in not only on-court talent, but the general experience of attending a game. Whether it was not being able to see replays, lack of halftime entertainment, few giveaways, stale music, lack of national anthem singers, no media guides or poor scoreboard management, there was a lot to complain about.

I think many here voiced those feelings in the official survey and elsewhere, so I'm wondering - with new leadership having a year under their belts and expectations around the team set to rise - does Marquette make any changes to the gameday experience? Or is filling out those surveys an exercise in futility?

I'm going to take futility for $50.

Unfortunately, many of the features are determined by sponsors.  My least favorite - the smile cam - is sponsored by a dental group.  Pretty sure that's the case for the kiss cam as well.  And freebies like shirts or bobble heads need to be paid for by someone.  My fear is that things get worse before they get better, given the bad season we just finished.

The only change I see Marquette making to the gameday experience is creating more open space in the stands through their annual reseating practice.  I'm wondering how many casual fans and Chicago alumn will hold out or switch to a smaller ticket package.

I imagine roster turnover will create a more likely to win experience for the crowd. So we've got that going for us, which is nice.
