Marquette in Teen Vogue
« on: December 09, 2014, 01:19:49 PM »
My thirteen year old showed me this last month from her November 2014 edition of Teen Vogue magazine and I meant to post earlier.  She reminded me again this morning.

I can't find a magazine link only these two links that show the first page of the article.

Guess I've been out of the dating scene too long.  Good to know what kind of attire is considered acceptable in case I ever go back into circulation.

Is the photo implying we're the Cornell of the Midwest?

Perhaps Cornell is the MU of the East Coast?

Actually, I'd give that to BC... large Jesuit institution with meaningful athletics, loads of pride, yet always playing the middle child to its neighbors: the acne-riddled, overweight, low-self-esteem, bi-curious big sister, the Harvard of the Midwest of the East Coast (Harvard), the younger brother who's constantly annoying you, the UW-M of the East Coast (BU), and baby brother Stewie who no one seems to notice, the Milwaukee Institute of Technology of the East Coast.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Well done!
